Tidal Idol Returns To The Winery!

Saturday, April 28 from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM marks the return of
"Tidal Idol: to the winery in Drumright. Just like last year's
debut event, this fun evening will feature amazing talent competing
for cash prizes and the annual title of "Tidal Idol". This year we
anticipate the return of our 'celebrity' judges "Randy, Paula, and
Simon". This evening is a great time for participants and audience
alike. Tickets are just $10.00 for the audience and $20.00 for
participants and includes a free wine tasting and light

Art & Wine Festival to benefit Little Rascals Animal Rescue

On Saturday, April 21, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM over twenty
elite area artists will display their original artwork at the Art &
Wine festival at Tidal School Vineyards. 10% of all sales will go
to the Little Rascals Animal Aide Foundation. This wonderful
all-volunteer animal rescue organization is helping control animal
over-population and rescue abandoned pets that might otherwise have
to be destroyed. The artists and their art will be found throughout
the winery and grounds. Free wine tastings will be available and
there will be no charge to attend!

"A Day and a Night in Old Orleans"
5-Star Chef Lanney from Lake Charles, Louisiana begins his one of a
kind cooking demonstration at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 14. This
is a show in itself as those who have seen it can testify. Watch
live and in person as this renowned professional chef prepares an
outlandish seafood feast that we'll all get to eat! This is better
than being on a cooking TV show!

At 6:00 PM we will begin feasting on an array of wonderful seafood
and Cajun side dishes.

At 7:00 PM Famed jazz singer Earl Clark, who has just released his
latest CD, promises to re-assemble his entire 7-piece band and
entertain us live and onstage. Depending on the weather, we will
hold this event either outside or inside. As a result, seating is

Jim & Connie King

Two of Tulsa's favorite musical entertainers joined forces in 1994
and their popularity and success quickly established them as one of
the best duos to ever appear on a Tulsa stage.
Jim King has performed in Tulsa in bands, duos, and as a solo act
since the 1970's, singing, playing guitar, and specializing in the
"one-man-band" concept. Connie King (formerly Connie Saffa) sang
blues in Memphis for 15 years.

Jim & Connie performed regularly at Lennie's Club in 1994 and got
married in August of that year, making their duo a permanent one.
Jim & Connie's music will appeal to most age groups because they
perform so many different styles--and they do them all well! Styles
includes pop, blues, jazz, country, light rock, spiritual, and
classics from the past. They perform music from the 40's and 50's
all the way up through the 90's.

Ellis Widner wrote this about Jim in the Tulsa Tribune (Sept. 3,
1988): "King's fluid, jazzy guitar work and his honeyed voice
brings a welcome warmth...a versatile singer...a lively rapport
with the audience...working from a song list of about 1000 tunes,
King proved adept in several styles."

Terrell Lester wrote about them in the Tulsa World (August 8, 1994)
and described the combination of the full-band sound and Connie's
"superb voice" as a "night of top-rate entertainment." Connie shows
off her amazing voice and style as she sings tunes by many artists
including Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Barbra Streisand, and
Patsy Cline. She especially shines on blues numbers. She is truly a
unique, special talent.

A Note From Chef Lanney

Hello Ladies,

My name is Chef Lanney, I've recently landed in Oklahoma City with
as much force as Hurricane Rita that brought me here. I'm a 5 Star
Creole and Cajun Chef who likes to party and have a great time.

To tell you a little more about myself I take my cooking seriously.
I use fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats. Everything I make is
guaranteed to be home made just like the way your mother used to
make. I like to make people feel good when I cook. To re-assure you
I can cook and trust me I can! I've cooked for the Rolling Stones,
Tina Turner, B.B. King, and The Phoenix Suns basketball team, also
I am the holder of the 2004 Silver Spoon Award, and I have appeared
on various cooking shows.
