Tidal School Vineyards Gives Unprecedented Support to Lincoln County Grape Growers

Tidal School Vineyards has paid $1000 to $1200 per ton for the 2003 harvest of Lincoln County Oklahoma grapes.  The Winery more than doubled its fermentation capacity this summer by installing four 1100-gallon variable capacity stainless steel fermentation tanks to its winery in Stroud in anticipation of this year’s harvest.

“We’re looking for Lincoln County vineyards who apply best practices to their grape growing operation,” said Gary Schroeder, president of Tidal, “and we’re willing to pay top dollar for their produce.”

Tidal is Oklahoma’s largest winery operation with its product available across the state in more than 250 restaurant and retail locations.  The winery is expected to move late this year to its permanent facility at the Tidal School building and vineyard in Drumright.
