FAQ (Frequently asked questions)
Q. Can I ship to a store out of state?
A. Nope, not yet. This is for shipment to Oklahoma stores only
Q. So the wine will be shipped to my local store?
A. Yes, we’ll arrange to have your store get the wine you want
from their regular supplier.
Q. How long will this take?
A. Once you order it should take about one week. If a
distributor (the store’s supplier) happens to be out of the
particular wine you order, it might take a couple of extra days.
Q. How will I know when the wine is in?
A. We will give the store your name and phone number. They
should call you when it arrives, but it never hurts to check in
with the store if a week has passed and you haven’t heard from
them.
Q. Can I order less than a case?
A. Not right now. Once the program gets better underway perhaps
we can expand it to orders less than a case.
Q. It’s not really “free” shipping is it?
A. Well it is free to you! We operate within Oklahoma’s
so-called three-tiered distribution system. By making use of
this system our broker, distributor, and retail store partners
all share in the retail price that you pay. If it were legal for
us to ship a case of wine to your home, shipping costs would
probably be $40 or $50 per case or more. All and all this is
quite a bargain for you!

Oklahoma Winery
Announces Free Delivery of Wine
Uncorking a bottle of Oklahoma wine is now a mere mouse
click or phone call away. Tidal School Vineyards has
made all of their 17 wines available by the case for
customers to order online or over the phone. In
addition, delivery is free to the customer’s nearby
liquor store.
Gary Schroeder, president and CEO of the winery,
explained arrangements have been made with the state’s
wholesalers to deliver all of the Drumright, Okla.
vineyard’s wines to any retailer in the state, without
any freight or delivery charges. The regular 10%
discount for case purchases also still applies. “This makes shopping for a great wine simple.
It provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy incredible
wines or purchase them as gifts at a significant savings
to the customer,” Schroeder said.
The online ordering also ensures that the wine rack is always stocked with an
Oklahoma favorite.
“You get the same price as if you were here at the
winery, including any discounts,” Schroeder said. “As a
bonus, our wholesale and retail liquor store partners
get their regular profit. Best of all, we are better
able to serve our customers, this is the very definition
of a win-win.” Currently, only case purchases are
available with free delivery to local liquor stores.
However, Schroeder said the winery hopes to be able to
add single bottle purchases to the free delivery program
in the near future.
Tidal School Vineyards is located in the old Tidal
School, listed on the National Register of Historic
Places, which was built in the 1920s by oilman John D.
Rockefeller for his worker’s children. A million dollar
conversion and restoration project has transformed the
historic school into Oklahoma’s premier winery and
vineyard. Tidal School Vineyards is a former recipient
of the Redbud Award as Oklahoma’s outstanding new
attraction.
